Traditional SRT-to-UDP hardware gateways cost $2,000–$15,000 per unit. SRT Gateway by CEF delivers the same SRT/HLS-to-UDP/HLS conversion, plus fleet management, failover and monitoring, for a fraction of that.

You buy from CEF Technology, a company registered in the State of Wyoming, United States. Purchases are in US dollars, licensed per device, and governed by the laws of Wyoming. The software runs on hardware you provide and operate. What it does is described on this site and in the documentation, and we do not promise features that are not described there.

You buy a licence, not the software itself. It is non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable, and it covers one installation on one device, bound to that device’s MAC address. Commercial broadcasting and distribution are allowed. CEF Technology keeps ownership of the software. Moving a licence to different hardware is handled by support.

A first purchase can be refunded within 14 days if it does not work for you: write to [email protected] from the address on your account and we refund to the original payment method, after which the licence is revoked. Renewals are not refundable, so cancel before the renewal date instead. You can cancel any time, and the service keeps running until the end of the period you already paid for. The demo is free, so there is nothing to refund.

Electronically, right after your payment is confirmed. The key arrives by email to the address on your account and is also shown in your account on the panel, so a lost or filtered email never leaves you without it. You need one key per device. No hardware is shipped: SRT Gateway runs on your own Raspberry Pi or Ubuntu server.

You are responsible for what you transmit and for holding the rights to transmit it. You may not use the software for content you have no rights to, or that is unlawful. You may not tamper with licence verification, share a key beyond its device, run more devices than you hold licences for, or resell the software as a service without a written agreement. Multicast deserves particular care: only send it into networks you control or have permission to use.

Billing name and address, country, and tax identifiers where required. We never receive or store your full card number: payment is handled by Stripe and card details go from your browser straight to Stripe, which returns only a reference, the last four digits, the card brand and the result. From the devices themselves we see the MAC address that licensing is based on, status, software version and operational metrics. We do not sell personal data. This site sets no cookies of its own. It is static, with no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, which is why there is no cookie banner. The panel uses one strictly necessary cookie to keep you signed in. Stripe may set its own cookies inside its payment fields to keep the payment secure, and Cloudflare may set a security cookie to tell real visitors from automated attacks.
